Oh, No...Reptiles!

                                                The Green Anaconda Song

Green anacondas, snakes, crocodiles, alligators, lizards, tortoises are all part of the reptile family. Some reptiles are four-legged, and others, such as snakes, are not. But, they are all cold blooded creatures that have scaly skin and lungs to breathe in air. Most kids love learning about reptiles.

Although they are not my favorite types of animals, my son loves to learn about them. It is not only important to encourage kids to read, it is important to have them enjoy studying. A short reading interest inventory is very beneficial in understanding more about your student's reading motivations. In this manner, you can incorporate their thoughts into your lesson plans.
